The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic pickup truck is the rebadged version of the previous Silverado 1500, offered for the 2007 model year. The name came about to differentiate this model from an all-new Silverado 1500 that debuted the same year. Available in Regular, Extended, and Crew Cab configurations, the truck's engine lineup included a V6 and five V8 variants. All paired to a four-speed automatic transmission.
The pickup was available in W/T (Work Truck), LS, 1LT, 2LT, and LTZ. As befitting the W/T name, the base model was spartan with standard features, but did offer AM/FM radio and dual-zone air conditioning. Advancing to the LS trim added standard cruise control, a CD player, and cloth seating, cruise control, a CD player, and cloth seating. Available options included leather seats, satellite radio, a sunroof, DVD entertainment system, OnStar communications system, and 20=-inch wheels.
