The Buick Somerset was a coupe variant of the popular Skylark produced for the 1986 and 1987 model years. Replacing the Buick Somerset Regal, the two-door car offered either a 2.5-liter inline-four or 3.0-liter V6 engine, with gear changes managed by either a five-speed manual transmission or a three-speed automatic.
The Somerset was built on the GM "N" body and featured a long hood and short trunk decklid. The coupe stood out by offering owners an all-digital instrument cluster.
