Chevrolet C2500 was a truck that ran between 1988 and 2000. Part of the Rounded Line generation until 1991, it was built on the then-new GMT400 platform and featured a four-wheel independent suspension. The C designation indicates that the trucks had two-wheel drivetrains; the 2500 designated the pickups' sizes in tons. The model was renamed Chevrolet Silverado Classic in 1999, just before the Chevy Silverado line came out.
