The GMC C1500 Pickup was a truck that originally came out in the 1950s. If you're driving one these days, though, there's a good chance it's from between 1984 and 1999, from about the middle of the third generation all the way to the end of the fourth.

The "C" in the model's name indicates it has two-wheel drive (2WD), while the "1500" indicates it's either half-ton or three-quarter-ton size, depending on which generation yours comes from. A four-door crew cab was available during its run, as was a dual rear-wheel configuration. In 1987, though, the line was temporarily renamed, with an R prefix distinguishing it from a fourth generation that was simultaneously for sale. The model also briefly became the GMC Sierra Classic until its discontinuation after 2000.
